Sculptural three-legged chair from Maurizio Peregalli, one of the founders of the Zeus collective, a group of Milan-based designers who sought to “contaminate” the disciplines of art, fashion, and design when they launched their collection and multi-functional project space in 1984.
While several Zeus pieces remain in production, the Poltronona chair was discontinued in the late 1980s after only a few years in the market. Four chairs are available, all in very good condition, with minor scuffs and markings consistent with their age.
