Sottsass Bitossi vase (V307/18 - c.1958). A Dutch department store, De Bijenkorf commissioned the Italian ceramics house to produce a series of pieces for its stores. The design features various layers of glaze, including a pebbled, matte black glaze over an off-white glaze, and a swash of pale blue volcanic glaze. Very good vintage condition, with some light marking and age toning.
