“It is not a chair but a designer’s joke,” Rietveld is reported to have said of the ZigZag chair. Perhaps, but it is an elegant—and quite comfortable—one for sure.  This example was prodcued by Cassina in the late 20th century. It is stamped No. 8583, and is in excellent vintage condition.
